Natasha Villa

External Affairs Manager

Natasha Villa serves as the External Affairs Manager for the Pacific Merchant Shipping Association (PMSA) at their Long Beach office. In this role, Ms. Villa is instrumental in shaping and advancing maritime public policy and advocacy efforts. She excels at fostering and maintaining strategic relationships with a wide array of external stakeholders, including government officials, non-profit organizations, and industry partners. Her expertise and dynamic approach make her a key spokesperson for PMSA, effectively representing the organization’s interests in public forums and engaging in collaborative efforts to build consensus on critical industry issues.

Ms. Villa manages and produces external and public-facing assets for PMSA. She supports, produces, and manages communications and advocacy for PMSA at all levels of government and across all traditional media and social media platforms. Ms. Villa also regularly attends and participates in port and other public meetings on behalf of the maritime industry across Southern California.

Natasha is a proud double alumna of St. John’s University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration on the university's Queens, New York campus. Her academic journey continued in Rome, Italy, where she completed her Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. This international experience has provided her with a unique global perspective and a nuanced understanding of the geopolitical factors influencing the maritime industry.
