Maersk Naming Ceremony
Maersk’s latest green fleet addition, the “Alette,” was officially named at POLA, and we were thrilled to attend! The dual-fueled methanol container vessel left us all in awe—still smelling brand new! Huge thanks to the officers, crew, and Maersk team for hosting such an amazing event. They really know how to put on a show! 🎉
9th Annual State of the Port of Los Angeles
On January 10, 2024, in collaboration with the Port of Los Angeles, the Pacific Merchant Shipping Association hosted the 9th Annual State of the Port of Los Angeles Luncheon. This event featured Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and City Councilmember Tim McOsker, alongside the keynote speaker, Port of Los Angeles Executive Director Gene Seroka.
