OAKLAND, CA – Mike Jacob assumed the role of President of the Pacific Merchant Shipping Association (PMSA) effective today, April 1, 2024.
BACKGROUND
"We look forward to the Association continuing to flourish under Mike’s strong leadership," said G. Scott Jones, Chairman of the PMSA Board.
Mike assumes the PMSA President position having served as the PMSA Vice President and General Counsel for 19 years. Prior to joining PMSA, Mike worked as a strategic consultant to local transportation agencies in the Bay Area, including the Port of Oakland and the Bay Area Rapid Transit District and held positions at the California state legislature.
